German is not a language of the past. Over 80,000 new titles a year are printed in German. Each year, more books are published in German than in any other language except English and Chinese. Unfortunately, only a small percentage of these German books are translated into other languages. Learn to speak German to gain access to these books.

The most popular books both current and old have been, or most likely will be, translated into your native language. But there is something about reading the original text in its original language. Although great care is taken to translate correctly and therefore the words are correct, sometimes a little of the emotional feeling is lost in translation. In my opinion, it is always best to go straight to the source.
